I understand interculural dialogue as a process of interaction between persons of two of more
cultures, regardless of the extent of diversity thereof, which results in an introduction to
and deeper understanding of each other\\\'s cultures. The end result of such disalogue may
either strengthen the pre-conceived notions or reduce/displace negative perceptions of the
participants about the other culture(s). The significance of such intercultural dialogue has
become exceedingly central in today\\\'s world of cultural andreligious conflicts.
